Job Description – Maintenance Fitter

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹27,000 per month

Position Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a heavy machinery manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and machines to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of heavy machinery

Maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines

Operate and maintain Plasma Cutting Machines

Maintenance of Lathe Machines

Handle Hydraulic systems and hydraulic components

Crane maintenance, inspection, and minor repairs

Maintenance and alignment of Gear Boxes

Diagnose mechanical faults and rectify issues promptly

Ensure machines run efficiently with minimal downtime

Follow safety procedures and industry standards

Maintain maintenance records and daily reports

Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy machinery or manufacturing industry

Qualification:
ITI – Fitter (Mandatory)

Skills Required:
Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge

Experience in CNC, plasma cutting, and lathe machines

Good understanding of hydraulics and crane systems

Ability to read mechanical drawings

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of industrial safety practices
